ABOUT REBECCA
Rebecca is a dedicated psychotherapist and facilitator with over a decade of experience in various forms of healing arts across the globe. She holds a Master’s degree in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy from Goldsmiths University in London, a Postgraduate Certificate in Humanistic and Psychodynamic Counselling, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from Cardiff University.
Since 2016, Rebecca has been working as an Occupational Therapist, providing holistic support to individuals across various settings. Her expertise includes working with clients dealing with sensory processing, relationships, emotional regulation, and learning-based difficulties. In 2018, she expanded her practice to include Energy Healing and Ayurvedic Consultancy, integrating ancient healing modalities with her therapeutic approach to promote holistic well-being.
Soon after, Rebecca furthered her journey into psychotherapy at Goldsmiths University, immersing herself in the complexities of the human psyche and therapeutic relationships. Through her training, she developed a deep understanding of Psychodynamic theory and its application in clinical practice. Her work encompasses exploring unconscious processes, early childhood experiences, and the interplay of past and present in shaping individuals’ lives.
Drawing from her various backgrounds, Rebecca offers a unique approach to therapy that integrates insights from many therapeutic fields. Her practice focuses on understanding how past experiences influence current patterns of behaviour, emotions, and relationships. She works with clients of all ages dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship difficulties by exploring underlying conflicts and unconscious dynamics to promote healing and growth. She is also passionate about working with clients who may have experienced disordered eating, body dysmorphia, sexual assault, and intimacy-related trauma.
Rebecca’s therapeutic work is informed by a deep appreciation for the complexity of the human experience and a belief in the transformative power of self-awareness and insight.
If this feels resonant with you, book a session with Rebecca at Lifespan today, and experience the transformative potential of psychodynamic psychotherapy. She currently offers sessions online only.
