ABOUT LOLITA
Lolita is a Master Level Therapist with Post-Graduate certificates in Sexual Health and Play Therapy. She has trained in Canada, USA and Hong Kong. Working from an integrative framework, Lolita utilizes evidence-based therapeutic models to meet her clients’ needs.
Lolita has worked extensively with children, teens and families as an international school counsellor in both Mainland China and Hong Kong, and understands the challenges and issues that arise for families living abroad. Prior to leaving Canada Lolita was a social worker with local and national NGO agencies, supporting adult clients struggling with anxiety, women’s issues, spirituality, depression as well as other life challenges.
Lolita’s passion is working with teens and young adults; both neuro-typical and those on the autism spectrum or with mild intellectual disabilities. Gender identity, social and relationship skills training, loneliness and anxiety are her areas of speciality with this age-group.
Lolita also works with adults and couples, she is skilled in couple’s therapy and is a trained co-parent facilitator helping divorcing couples resolve parenting related issues.
