Dr. Eason utilizes an eclectic and collaborative approach to person-centered therapy, primarily drawing from cognitive behavioral (CBT), psychodynamic, and humanistic orientations. Humanistic psychology tradition has at its core the tenet of providing all clients with unconditional positive regard and treating them equally with dignity and respect. His goal is to provide clients with education, coping skills, and new perspectives related to substance abuse/addiction issues, anxiety, depression, stress management, mindfulness, life transitions, time management, expat adjustment, sleep issues/insomnia and other areas of self-care essential to personal growth and understanding.
Dr. Eason has extensive experience in working with LGBTQ+ clients, as both individuals and couples, addressing the unique difficulties this population faces in the Hong Kong context. You can learn more about Dr. Eason on his personal website.
